New factory set to be established in Ghana

The executive director of Adwenpa Construction and Engineering Services Limited, Mr. Julius Kwaku Ankomah on Wednesday announced that a cement factory will soon be constructed at Winneba in the Effutu District of the Central Region.
 
According to Mr Ankomah the plant will have a capacity to produce 3000tpd.

Ghana News Agency quoted Mr Ankomah as saying that the cement works, which will be called "Central Region Cement" (CENTROCEM) will be operational next year and that the investors, Sojitz Consortium based in Japan, has its African headquarters in Angola, while the contractors for the project are FLSmidth Engineering Company.
