New plant for Novorossiysk region, Russia
Moscow developer Trustinvest-V intends to invest US$500m building a cement plant outside Novorossiysk, Krasnodar region, Kommersant reports. The plant construction site is reportedly located near Novorossiysk - Krymsk federal highway, between the villages of Gorny and Nizhnebakansky. The plant’s projected annual cement capacity is 3.5Mt. The plant is scheduled to be put into commission in 2014.
