JK Lakshmi Cement plans to establish a cement factory at Jharli in Jhajjar district of Haryana.

Company director S Chokse has written a letter to Deepender Hooda, Rohtak MP, conveying the decision, the company said in a statement while not disclosing the investment for setting up the unit.

In his letter, Chokse has said Haryana was one of the developed states of the country and it was a matter of proud for the company to set up its plant in this state.

With the setting up of a cement factory in the developed state of Hayrana, the ash of thermal plants could be utilised, and a number of new avenues of employment would also be opened for the local people, it said.
