EPC Yemeni subsidiary launches production, Saudi Arabia
Saudi cement producer Eastern Province Cement Company (EPC) said today that Saudi Yemeni Cement Co Ltd, in which it owns 30%, had started trial production at its plant in Mukalla, southern Yemen.
The plant will have an production capacity of 1.2Mta of clinker and 1.26Mt of cement.
Most of the plant’s output will be sold on the domestic market, the rest will be exported to neigbouring countries.
