Dyckerhoff allocates EUR 40m for its Ural subsidiary

Dyckerhoff AG will issue a EUR 40m loan to its Russian subsidiary OAO Sukholozhskcement for the completion of construction of the fifth technology line. The three year loan will enable them to commission the capacity for dry cement production of 1.3Mta.



The company informed RusBusinessNews that the construction of the new line began in 2006 next to the working production site of Sukholozhskcement. By October 2009 more than 50 per cent of construction work has been completed, some production equipment purchased, the railway link is being built. The new line is planned to start producing in May 2010.

Dyckerhoff AG holds a 73 per cent share in OAO Sukholozhskcement. In January to June 2009 the revenues of OAO Sukholozhskcement from making 666,000t of cement have exceeded RUB 1bn.

The company controls about three per cent of the Russian cement market.
