NW Cement Producers Group Merges with PCA
20 April 2009

The Northwest Cement Producers Group, a multistate association headquartered in Washington, has merged into the national Portland Cement Association.

John V. Arroyo of Gig Harbor, who has managed the marketing cooperative as executive director since its inception in 1994, will continue in that capacity to serve the architectural, engineering and construction industries in the private sector and state, county and municipal agencies in the public sector.

PCA will continue to provide national programs, economic and market research, and technical support for cement manufacturing and concrete products. As the PCA-Northwest Region, the former NCPG will retain responsibility for market development and work with local and regional allied groups in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
