Saudi companies have to pay the price for the government’s earlier decision to impose a ban on exports of cement products, while Asian companies gain the lot, according to Prince Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Saud Al Kabeer, managing director of Al Yamama Cement Company, Gulf News has reported.

Al Khabeer said negotiations by Saudi cement companies with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to lift the export ban have not been successful.
