Holcim Philippines renew partnership for affordable housing
To support the government’s affordable housing program and to help stimulate employment in these difficult times, Holcim Philippines Inc has renewed its partnership with the Subdivision and Housing Developers Association (SHDA) for the second consecutive year, reports the Business Mirror.
Holcim Philippines pioneered the agreement with SHDA in 2007, setting the benchmark for the cement industry. The memorandum of agreement enables SHDA members to purchase Holcim cement at predictable prices, allowing them to continue their projects without delay and protecting them against the increasing cost of construction materials.
Holcim Philippines chief operating Officer Ian Thackwray said, “Our renewed partnership with SHDA affirms Holcim’s commitment to continually provide high quality and reliable cement supply nationwide. We share the government’s vision of uplifting the quality of lives of Filipino families by helping them realize their dreams of owning a home.”
