Shree Cement Jan shipments up 30 per cent
Shree Cement of India said on Tuesday its January shipments rose 30.43 per cent to 750,000t, from 575,000t a year earlier.
Total shipments between April 2008 to January 2009 rose 25.35 per cent to 6.18Mt from 4.93Mt a year ago, it said in a statement.
The firm has a capacity to produce 8Mt of cement annually at its plant in the northern state of Rajasthan.
