Titan Cement Company SA has, on September 26, 2008, purchased 9,000 common and 170 preference own shares at €23.80 and €19 per share and a total purchase price of €214,238 and €3230 respectively.

The share price rose 20 Eurocents (or 0.9 per cent) to €23.20.

Compared with the FTSE/Athex 140 Index which rose 18.1 points (or 0.5 per cnet) on the day, this represented a relative price change of 0.3 per cent.
