Russian co to build RUB16.5bn cement plant in Volgograd Region

Russian company Lider Business Finans plans to build a cement plant at a cost of about 16.5 billion rubles in the Volgograd Region, the regional government said Monday.

The plant’ annual production capacity is projected at 2.4Mt of cement.

The plant will be built in the region’ Olkhovsky district. It is expected to be launched in late 2011 or early 2012.
