Holcim raises stake in Serbia unit

Holcim has raised its stake in its Serbian unit, Holcim Serbia, by 7.08 per cent to 99.4 per cent for CSD749m (US$12m), according to local press reports.
 
Small shareholders currently hold 0.6 per cent in the Serbian firm.
 
At present, Holcim holds 2.286,3 million shares in Holcim Novi Popovac. It paid CSD4600 (US$74) per each of the 162,815 shares making up the 7.08 per cent stake.
 
The company’s shares last traded on the Belgrade Stock Exchange on July 10, closing at CSD4600 dinars, up 0.11 per cent
