ACC July cement despatches up 6%
Cement major ACC’s shipments in July rose to 1.71Mt from 1.64Mt a year earlier.
The company said production in July rose to 1.73Mt from 1.63Mt a year ago.
On a cumulative basis, the company’s production in the current year from January-June 2008 rose to 12.3Mt from 11.84Mt last year while despatches rose to 12.32Mt from 11.84Mt.
