Cement factory to be opened at Karibib, Namibia

Karibib Portland Cement (KPC) is set to invest N$1.8bn in a cement plant and a mine 12km northeast of Karibib.
 
The investment includes the establishment of a mine, the building of a cement factory and essential infrastructure such as access roads and rail links.
  
KPC Managing Director Jorge Gamito told Nampa that the construction of the factory would start within a month and a half and take 13 months to complete.
