Sibirsky Cement to build plant in Ryazan Region

Russian holding Sibirsky Cement expects to build a RUB57bn  cement plant in the Ryazan Region by 2014, the company’s press office said Thursday.
 
The company signed the relevant agreement with the government of the Ryazan Region and the administration of the region’s Mikhailovsky district, where the plant is expected to be located.
 
The plant is expected to be launched in three phases, with the first production line to be launched in January-June 2011, the second line slated to be launched in 2012 and the third  to be launched in January-June 2014. After the launch of the third production line, the plant is expected to have an annual production capacity of 7.8Mt of cement.
