India imports 83,000t of cement from Pakistan
Government is importing cement from Pakistan as a measure to control the hike in cement prices.
Cement is being imported from Pakistan by train on a daily basis through Attari station in Amritsar.
Over 83,000t of cement has been imported from Pakistan so far.
Besides asking the cement manufacturing companies to slash the prices, the government is also making efforts to control the hike in cement prices.
