Ukraine cement production up 9.1% in April
Ukrainian cement production rose by 9.1% in April 2008, compared with April 2007 to 1.5Mt, according to figures released by the State Statistics Committee.
Production of cement rose by 9.6% in April, compared to March.
In January-April cement production rose by 22.4%, compared to January-April 2007, to 4,732 tons.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in March 2008, cement production rose by 28.4%, compared with March 2007, to 1,365,000t.
In 2007 production of cement rose by 9.1%, as compared with the same period of 2006, to 15Mt.
