Cement to note highest price growth in 2008, Poland
08 May 2008

In spite of the warm winter this year there has been no shortage of construction materials on the market, and, as a consequence, no acceleration in prices. Only aggregates and cement may become dearer this year, experts from the Association of Building Materials Producers (ZPMB) reported.

Cement has already risen by around 10% since January, and this has helped push up the price of roof tiles and bricks. Certain insulation materials are also marginally more expensive than at the beginning of 2008. However, ZPMB specialists contend that any major increase in prices of materials is unlikely.
