Eurocement’s Ukrainian plants boost output 7% in Jan-Nov

The two Ukrainian plants of top Russian cement producer  Eurocement Group increased cement production by 7.3% YoY to 3.26Mt in the first 11 months of 2007.  
 
Baltsem increased production by 11.1% to 2.695Mt and Pushka raised output by 7.8% to 563,300t, sources at the plants told Interfax.  
 
Baltsem and Pushka, which have been part of  Eurocement Group Ukraine since 2005, have combined design capacity to produce about 5Mta of cement.
