Becema to Invest $22mn in Kaluga Plant

Kaluga government head Nikolai Lyubimov has signed a major investment contract with Becema, a tank trailers manufacturer based in the Moscow Region, to build a RUR550mn ($22.5mn, or €15.29mn) mechanical engineering plant in Kaluga, a city about 120 miles southwest of Moscow.

Becema a subsupplier for Swedish truckmaker Volvo is now building a plant in Kaluga’s industrial area. Becema has over 70 years experience in Russia’s mechanical engineering, manufacturing tank trailers, road
construction machines and plant equipment for the cement, chemical and metallurgical industries.
