NDRC publishes outdated production capacity elimination list, China
The National Development and Reform Commission published on January 7th the list of 1,066 enterprises with outdated cement production capacity to be eliminated and requested enterprises to close down their outdated production lines as soon as possible if they haven’t already. During the Eleventh-Five Year Plan period, China plans to eliminate 250mt of outdated cement production capacity. The elimination target in 2006 was 1,474 outdated cement production lines in 27 provinces such as Fujian, Shaanxi and Henan. Published under Cement News
