Belarusian plant launches new production line

Belarusian Cement Works launched a new clinker line to increase output by 200,000tpa, general director of the company Vladimir Kiselev told Belarusian news sources. The line will reach the designed capacity by April-May 2008.

Next year the company plans to make 1.1Mt of cement. This year’s output will amount to around 930,000t, Vladimir Kiselev said. The company invested Br20 billion into the new line within two years. Now the company has two clinker lines

In January-November this year, Belarusian Cement Works manufactured 850,500t of cement, up 6.2% from the same period last year. Founded in 1996, the company employs around 1300 personnel.
