Cement jobs move west
About 100 jobs to be affected at Lehigh Cement. Some operations will stay in Lehigh Valley.
Lehigh Cement Co. plans to move its headquarters to Texas next year, a relocation that will affect about 100 jobs, or nearly half its local work force.
The company said Tuesday that the move to Dallas is part of a plan to integrate its operations with Hanson PLC, a British building materials company that Lehigh Cement’s parent purchased in August for US$15.8 bn. Published under Cement News
