Price for cement may exceed RUB10,000/t
The price for cement may exceed RUB10,000/t by the end of this year, the president of the Russian Association of Builders, Nikolai Koshman, said at the international construction and investment forum.
The prices rose 140 percent this year, and even more in some regions, Koshman noted, adding that the association made a statement that such a price rise jeopardized national interests.
Prime-Tass cited the director of the concrete production network management, Viktor Gubanov, as saying that the prices rose from 3,600 to about 7,000 roubles a tonne over a year. According to Gubanov, the 7,000-rouble level is unlikely to be exceeded next year. Published under Cement News
