Eurocement to increase Ukraine output by 33%

In 2008, Kyiv-based Eurocement Group Ukraine, a subsidiary of Eurocement Group (Moscow), plans to increase cement production by 33.33% – equivalent to 1.2Mt, compared to expected indicator of 2007, up to 4.8Mt.  
 
Chairman of the directors board of Eurocement Group Holding, Russia, Filaret Galichev disclosed this to local press. 
 
By the end of 2007, Eurocement Group Ukraine plans to increase cement production to 3.6Mt.  
 
Eurocement Group Ukraine intends to invest US$40m in development of its enterprises before the end of this year.  
 
Eurocement ended the year 2006 with a net profit of UAH98.077 million.
