Holcim invests in Rouen plant, France

Holcim is to invest 48m euros in constructing a grinding plant at the French port of Rouen. The plant is to have a capacity of 580,000 tonnes per year for slag and clinker produced at the group’s French and Belgian cement works.  
 
A total of 16 new jobs will be created at the plant, which is due to become operational in 2009.
