Lafarge to invest in cement plant in Kaluga Region

Lafarge may invest about €230m in constructing a cement plant in the Kaluga Region not far from Moscow. It also won the auction for the development of the Borshchevskoye deposit located in the Ferzikovo District of the Kaluga Region.  
 
The equipment for the plant will be made in China. The capacity of the plant will be up to 2Mta, enough to meet the requirements of the Kaluga Region. It will be later doubled
