13 June 2007

Bolivian cement maker Sociedad Boliviana de Cemento (Soboce) has announced that it will import 250,000 liters of fuel oil  due to a likely reduction in the supply of natural gas.

The import of the product from Chile will be made through Bolivian state-run company Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB).

Soboce disclosed that in 2006 it failed to produce 90,000t of cement due to the lack of natural gas.
