Belarus’ state-run Belarusian Cement Plant, in the Mogilev Region, is expected to go public soon, Architecture and Construction Minister of Belarus Alexander Seleznev told reporters on Tuesday.

The state will control 100% in the joint-stock company at the initial phase.

“After that it will all depend on investors and their proposals. We will address this matter as early as June and July,” the minister said.

Seleznev said an Iranian company was a possible investor.

Belarusian Cement Plant was launched in 1996. In January-March the plan produced 178,000t of cement, up 11.9% on the year.
