Pavilion Technologies announced that Florida Rock Industries has chosen Pavilion’s Cement Solution to improve production processes at its plant in Newberry, Florida. Florida Rock will deploy Pavilion’s Model Predictive Control (MPC)-based Cement Grinding Application to increase production while reducing energy consumption and quality variability. Florida Rock is the ninth cement manufacturer in the last 12 months to choose Pavilion’s industry-leading Cement Solution to meet plant performance goals.

"Pavilion’s ValueFirst(R) satisfaction guarantee, coupled with its excellent track record in helping leading cement manufacturers reach operational goals, was instrumental in the decision making process in our selection of Pavilion," said Chris Horner, plant manager, Florida Rock Industries. "Pavilion’s technology will give us more control of our processes which will result in higher quality products, increased operational efficiencies and increased profitability."

With Pavilion’s Cement Solution, Florida Rock will be able to maintain product quality specifications, reduce variability of product quality and maximize production subject to equipment constraints.
