Mykolaivtsement increases cement output by 16.1% to 59,200t In February

In February, the Mykolaivtsement company (Mykolaiv, Lviv region), one of the five largest producers of cement, increased cement output by 16.1% or 8,200t, compared to February 2006, to 59,200t.  
  
According to a statement from the company, in February Mykolaivtsement increased clinker output by 48.6% or 21,300t, as compared to February 2006, to 65,100t.  
 
In January the company increased cement output by 42.9% or 16,500t to 55,000t, as compared to January 2006.  
 
In January the company reduced clinker output by 10.4% or 4,700t to 40,300t, as compared to January 2006.  
 
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the company ended 2005 with a net profit of UAH 21.98m increasing net revenues by 28.4% or UAH 44.42m, compared to 2004 to UAH 201.07m.  
 
In addition to the cement production, Mykolaivtsement is engaged in production of paving slab, face slabs, concrete, cube and other building materials.  
 
According to data of the Agency for Development of the Stock Market’s Infrastructure as of the year 2003, 99.26% of the shares in Mykolaivtsement belonged to Lafarge Ukraine company (France).
