Cimpor denies involvement in Brazilian cement/concrete cartel
Cimpor said that to the best of its knowledge it is not involved in any cartel to fix prices in the Brazilian cement and concrete business, currently under investigation by the authorities since March 8.
This morning, Diario Economico reported that Cimpor runs the risk of losing EUR68m or 30 per cent of its 2005 sales, if it is found guilty of the accusations it is facing of price fixing in Brazil. Published under Cement News
