Cement Production up 56.9% to 767,000t in January
In January Ukrainian cement production rose by 56.9% compared to January 2006, to 767,000t.
In January 2007, production of cement fell by 26.9% against December 2006.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in December, cement production rose by 43.2% compared to December 2005, to 1,049,000t.
In 2006, production of cement grew by 12.9% compared to 2005 to 13,732,000t.
More than 15 enterprises produce cement in Ukraine, and their total annual capacity is more than 20Mt.
