Shree Cement bags corporate governance award
Rajasthan-based cement manufacturer Shree cements has said it has bagged the best corporate governance award from the Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the year 2006-7.
The company got the award in all four categories, corporate governance in capital market, financial performance, business and qualitative approach and annual management, Shree Cement Executive Director M K Singhi told reporters here.
The company has undertaken a rapid capacity expansion programme to ramp up its production capacity to 10Mt by 2009 from the current capacity of 6Mt, he said.
The company is targetting to increase its market share in North India to 24 per cent by 2009, from its present share of 15-16 per cent, he said.
