Ukraine’s cement output grew by 12.9 per cent YoY to 13.732Mt in 2006, data of the State Statistics Committee showed.
 
In December alone, cement production jumped by 43.2 per cent YoY, but declined by 10.6 per cent month-on-month, to 1.049Mt.
 
The country’s overall cement production rose by 12.7 per cent on the year to 13.683Mt last year, according to estimates of local cement producers’ association Ukrcement. 
 
The total output of the 12 companies members of Ukrcement climbed by 11.5 per cent YoY to 10.929Mt in the period. 
 
Ukraine’s cement production went up by 14.6 per cent YoY to 12.183Mt in 2005, the State Statistics Committee said.
