Caspian Resources to develop Kuznetsk cement plant
15 January 2007

Kazakhstan’s Caspian Resources holding company will invest roughly R200m in 2007 to upgrade its- controlled Kuznetsk cement plant (Kemerovo Region, Russia).

The plant was previously controlled by individuals from Moscow and Novokuznetsk. The bulk will be spent overhauling and restarting cement production line No. 4, which stood idle for the past five years. The aim is to bring cement output to 700,000 tonnes annually. Investment will also be made to protect the environment.
