China’s average cement price remains stable
According to statistics from the cement markets in 18 key Chinese cities, the average monthly price of ordinary Portland cement (OPC) 42.5 was RMB328.2/t, up 0.7% over September, but down 0.2% over 2005.
The average monthly price of OPC 32.5 was RMB289.5/t, down 0.5% over September, and down 2.3% over 2005.
Meanwhile, in the first three quarters of 2006, Conch Cement sold 54.51Mt of cement and clinker, up 42% YoY. The company’s realised main business income was RMB10.67bn and the main business profits were RMB2.875bn, up 48% and 94%, respectively, year-on-year.
