Murli Agro Products Ltd today said it will acquire 847 hectares to set up a proposed mines and greenfield cement plant at Maharastra.

In a filing on the Bombay Stock Exchange, Murli Agro said that the proposed land acquistion is in its final stages and after its completion by end of December, a greenfield cement plant having capacity of 2.14 MTPA cement with 30MW captive power plant at Chandrapur in Maharashtra would be set up.

Murli Agro has already finalised the purchase orders for main plant and equipments to suppliers for the said project for pyro process system comprising of preheater, kiln and cooler.

The other purchase orders comprises of raw material grinding, coal grinding, cement grinding comprising of two ball mills with one roller press and packing, weighing and despatching system, it added.
