Bahrain ups cement production
Bahrain’s only cement producer is to undergo an expansion in order to boost its output, according to TradeArabia, citing the Gulf Daily News. The production capacity of the Arabian Gulf Cement Company’s Star Cement plant in Hidd is being upped from 250,000tpa to 360,000tpa, just over 20% of Bahrain’s yearly requirement.
