St Lawrence Cement Group Inc - Board of Directors Change

St. Lawrence Cement Group confirmed that Mr. Pierre Marc Johnson has resigned from the Company’s Board of Directors. Mr Johnson’s resignation follows his decision to accept to chair the commission which will investigate the partial collapse of the Concord Viaduc in Laval. Mr. Johnson joined the Board in 2001. During his tenure, he served on various committees and acted as Chair of the Environmental and Health and Safety Committee of the Board. 

Mr. Johnson is an Attorney of Counsel to the law firm Heenan Blaikie LLP in Montreal. "Mr. Johnson has been a very valued member of the Board of Directors," said Mr. Benoit H. Koch, Chairman of the Board of St. Lawrence Cement Group. "We are grateful for his professional contribution to our company and we wish him the very best in the future."
