Three Enexco Teknologies employees killed in accident in Indonesia

Enexco Teknologies said three members of its senior level management were killed in a road accident in Indonesia.


The company said in a statement here that two of its employees died on the spot while one more executive died on the way to the hospital when the vehicle, in which they were travelling, collided with a truck around 6:15 am (local time) Friday 6 October. They were travelling from Banda Aceh to Medan, Indonesia.


The deceased have been identified as T S Ramachandran, Brijesh Kalra and Tharnish Kumar.


Condoling the death of its employees, Enexco Chairman K J Puetz said it was shocking news for all the three families and the Enexco Team.


"The whole Cement Industry, and apart from the human loss, the company has lost three of its most valuable assets," he added.


A team of six Indians--four executives from ENEXCO and two executives from other Indian companies--were travelling from Banda Aceh to Medan, with regard to a cement project of Lafarge, which was shut down in Banda Aceh due to tsunami and was revived and under commissioning, the statement said.
