New Iranian plant scheduled to open

According to “Tehran Times”, the largest ever gray cement plant of the nation is projected to come on stream in the second half of the current Iranian year (some time after September 22, 2006). The factory, based in Saveh, Markazi (Central) Arak, is 83 percent complete and enjoys a production capacity of 7500tpd. Financed by the Oil Stabilization Fund (OSF) and investors which are valued at $244.4m, the factory is being constructed on a land area as large as 400 hectares. Published under Cement News
