GCC foresees bigger exports

Mexico’s cement maker Grupo Cementos Chihuahua (GCC) estimates that, between April this year and March 2007, it would have exported 760,000t of cement, equal to a 15 per cent rise compared to the same period last year, said Manuel Milan, CEO of the company. Exports reach nearly 35 per cent of GCC’s total output in Mexico. The official explained that sales estimates for year-end stand between 6.6 and 6.9 billion pesos, including activities in Bolivia.
