The Jamaican government has announced that the first of three shipments of cement from Cuba will arrive this weekend. Information Minister Colin Campbell, told reporters at a Post Cabinet press briefing Monday afternoon that a shipment of 20,000t of cement will ease the shortage facing the construction sector. Two weeks ago the Minister announced that the Cuban government was supplying 65,000 tons of cement to help ease the shortage. Published under Cement News
