JK Cement, one of the largest producers of white cement in India is seeking new markets in Australia and New Zealand. The company has registered a growth of 20 per cent in white exports this year, said A K Saraogi, president and CFO. “We have exported 25,000 tonne white cement this year to Bangladesh, Middle East, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and African countries and are looking further,” Saraogi said.

The company is also planning to switch to 70 per cent Portland Pozzolano Cement from the existing 30 per cent of overall cement production, he said. “The demand for PPC is rising by each passing day,” he maintained.
