In December 2005, Ukranian cement production rose by 56.4 per cent compared with December 2004, to 732,000t, the State Statistics Committee has disclosed.  In 2005, cement production rose by 14.6 per cent compared with 2004, to 12,183,000t, while In 2004, cement production rose by 19.3 per cent or 1,719,000t compared with 2003, to 10,635,000t.  More than 15 enterprises produce cement in Ukraine, and their total annual capacity is more than 20Mt.
