Cement sales up in November

Pakistan ’s total cement sales during the month of November as compared to the previous year went up by eight per cent and were noted at 1.194Mt. The All Pakistan Cement Manufactures Association’s figures made available said that the local sale of cement soared by about eight per cent remained at 1.97Mt, while the exports up by 13 per cent stood at 0.97Mt.

During the first five months of current fiscal year July-November, cement’s local sale aggregated to 6.576Mt, showing a jump of 12 per cent as compared previous year. However, export of cement during this period declined by 3 per cent to 0.651Mt. The volume of cement’s local sale and exports during the first five months of current fiscal year totalled 7.227Mt
