Spanish construction company Fomento de Construcciones y Contratas SA’s (FCC) cement unit Cementos Portland Valderrivas SA is considering investments for as much as Euro 900m throughout 2006, report Spanish newspapers in their Monday internet edition, citing remarks by the unit’s Chief Executive, Jose Ignacio Martinez-Ynzenga.  Latin America, Canada and North Africa are regions the company’s eyeing for future growth, the papers say.  The cement producer will also seek shareholders’ approval this month for an investment of Euro170m in the US to revamp its Bath plant in Pennsylvania, they added.
