Lafarge names sustainable development chief

Lafarge has appointed Olivier Luneau senior vice president in charge of sustainable development and public affairs, the group said on October 18, 2005. Luneau will report directly to the CEO. He succeeds Gaelle Monteiller, who has joined French concrete activity Lafarge Betons France, as general manager of the Vallee de Seine region. Luneau began his career at the Bank of America, before joining Lafarge in 1990, first at the financial department in Paris, then in London following the acquisition of Redland. Since 2001, Olivier Luneau has been CEO of Lafarge Aso Cement in Japan. Published under Cement News
