Garadagh Cement intends to fight with the final act on resuls of tax inspection at the Ministry of Taxes, Uwe Koehler, the President of Garadagh Cement company, told Trend on Tuesday.

In compliance with the data obtained by the Taxes Ministry, the Department of Preliminary Investigation under the Taxes Ministry filed a suit on the enterprise in compliance with Article 213.4 (evasion from payment of big taxes). As of totals of field tax inspection at the JSC, held from 21 February to 24 May 2005 of the company’s activities from 1 January 2003 to 1 January 2005, the accountancy documents submitted to the tax bodies contained distorted data on incomes and expenses. Thus, the JSC evaded from payment 13,289.5m manats in taxes to the public budget.

"We disagree with the conclusion of the Taxes Ministry. Though the sum was repaid, we appealed to the Economic Court with demand to recognize the court verdict as groundlessness," the head of the company underscored.
